Torn with BFP 8 days after trigger...WDYT?

I triggered on CD16 which was last Wednesday. AF is due this Friday. (26 day cycle) I used a DG test Sat. and Sun.BFN.

Yesterday FRER, which was BFN, but after i got home from work 7+ hrs later it was showing positive...same with FRER i took lastnight....it was showing positive several hours later.

Since i am a POAS addict, i did a regular EPT test this morning....it was negative, but then after doing some googling i decided to use my last FRER>>>>>it instantly had 2 lines.

My concern is that maybe the Trigger may possibly be in my system and the FRER is picking that up.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

yes, i tested out my trigger, just not with an early response.

My RE says to wait 15 days after trigger to do a pee test, 14 days after trigger for a blood test. So you need to wait until next Thursday to POAS. When I asked people about the trigger shot and why you have to wait 15 days, many said if you follow it around 10dpo is when it's out of your system...which would probably be Friday for you.

And DUDE, I totally agree with all the PPs. This was the wrong place to post this. This really isn't a question for anyone BUT your DOCTOR!!!

so i'm pretty sure you should know by now what is and isn't appropriate for this board. THIS is totally not the place for a post about BFP's, let alone with BFP in the title, no warning or anything. and obviously, your testing WAY to early. you need to call your doctor and get more information on what your doing, because obviously - you have no idea.

Someone with the SN fingerscrossed was stirring up drama (I think w/Jen629) and the next day this fingerscrossed showed up. She was questioned and stated it was purely coincidence. She has not been a regular poster and I have know idea if they are one in the same.

There was a "fingerscrossed" type screen name who caused a lot of sh it a while back, and then after that another "fingerscrossed" type screen name, but different, posted an intro... I have no clue if they were the same people or not...or even which fingerscrossed this is. But I thought the same thing.

There was somebody with a similar SN, like fingerscrossed123 that cause issues and then like 4 hours later this fingerscrossed showed up. When she got called out she said she was not the same person and had no clue what we were talking about (didn't see the posts).

I was wondering too. But a look at her prior posts indicated otherwise. She does know about the need to test out though.

As far as knowing better than to post BFPs here, I'd say inexperience is the culprit, and yeah... I know that's another way of saying 'young and dumb'. I'm just baffled that this isn't her first go around with triggering and yet she doesn't seem to understand basic testing and triggering concepts.

I think that in this particular case, the OP is in the process of TTCAL. Hence, because she hasn't yet had her true +, she thought it'd be ok to post here. I see she posted on PGAL now.

I'm glad I never posted on the wrong board when I was new! I think I'd be scared sh!tless! haha!

ok. I do know about testing out. I got negatives from last sunday thru yesterday, i just didn't use an early response test until yesterday, which was negative. first follicle study was on 2-16-11 they were not ready, second study was 2-18-11 and the ones i had left were of the right size....but some had already ruptured. So I actually "O"d on the 17th. This is always my delima......I never get a full 14 days in before AF is due to having a short cycle and always ovulating late in my cycle. I meant to harm...I have just not had this happen in previous cycles.

Because she's fishing... and the issue the other day was different...

Exactly this! Also, it doesn't sting when someone who has been offering tons of support gets a BFP shoutout, to my knowledge, I only have seen her post to answer her questions- not often offering support (that I've seen.) to me, that's the difference.

Because she's fishing... and the issue the other day was different...

Other than the phishing, my biggest issue with it isn't that it was hurtful to me so much as freaking irritating BECAUSE of the bfp blow up the other day. Anyone that lurked for half a second and had half a brain would know to stay away from posts like that.
