DH and I just recently started TTC. Every month I get a slight pain in one side that my doctor has told me is ovulation pain. I've never really paid attention to which day of my cycle this pain happens on. This month, I waited for the "pain" and TTC but realized it was only day 10 since my LMP. I have a pretty regular 28 day cycle, so is it possible to ovulate that early? Everywhere I read says I should ovulate on day 14.
My period isn't due for another 9 days so it's too early to test and i'm not sure if it's all in my head but I feel like i'm pregnant.
Last night I started having what felt like menstral cramps but less painful and dull (way too early for AF) and i've been having some slight nausea (no vomitting).
Any advice?
Re: Is it possible to ovulate on day 10 of cycle?
Yes, it is possible. Do you chart your BBT? If not, I suggest that you sign up with Fertility Friend and do so. You can also chart your ovulation pain along with that.
ETA: Last cycle, I ovulated on CD 21... so that "you should ovulate on CD 14" is a bunch of crap. There are women who ovulate much later than I did as well.
Yep. I highly suggest you read the newbie link at the top of the board. Ovulating on day 14 is a myth for the most part. I don't O anywhere near day 14, and many women here don't.

If you think you may be pregnant, take a hpt.
If you aren't - start charting on fertility friend. It's free to sign up - click on anyone's ticker. It will help you chart your temperature, and will confirm ovulation. Even though you have a 28 day cycle, you can ovulate anywhere from cd 10 - cd 20....each cycle and each woman is different.
Good luck!
Everything I've read in books and read here on TB says that even if you have a regular 28-day cycle, you may not O on CD14. You can try to predict your ovulation day with OPKs and confirm it by temping throughout your cycle. www.fertilityfriend.com is a great (and free!) site where you can keep track of your cycle and it's highly recommended here.
In any case, if you think you are pregnant, make sure to take a test.
Check out the book Taking Charge of Your Fertility too, it's an easy read and packed with great information.
