a drip of baby shampoo fell in her eye...

During bath time tonight a drip of non diluted california baby shampoo hit me 6 mo old in her eye...i washed it out with water and a warm cloth several times but the area around her eye also seemed irrtated...she cried but went through the rest of her bedtime routine fine and fell asleep fine...I even woke her up 5 mins into her sleep to wash out her eye again a few times...and the eye seemed to be cleaning itself out has this happened to anyone else? i feel horrible!!! I put some in my eye to see if it stings and it REALLY does!! poor baby!

    Ok, I cannot believe you put some in your own eye to test it. Do you BF? If so you can drop some BM in her eye and it should take the irritation out. Otherwise just try to flush it again in the morning.

    Sorry, this has never happened to us which is shocking since we also do not use a tearless shampoo.

    The good thing about CA baby is it has no chemicals -- it might sting, but at least you know there's noting "bad" in there.
