Baby Halloween Costumes

Ok...so has anyone thought ahead to how they are going to dress their new LO for Halloween? I know we have SO much else to plan for but we LOVE Halloween and always plan way ahead. Besides we think it is just plain fun. I am due at the end of the month so if I go past my due date I am thinking about bringing a costume for the baby in my hospital bag just for the sake of a picture!

I'm also due at the end of the month (the 27th), so my plan is just to stalk the clearance sales after Halloween and get one for next year!

my mom is going to make one of those little orange pumpkin beanies with the stem on top for LO and i will just get a halloween onesie.

I'm not due until Oct 30th, so I'll be lucky if I have the baby on Halloween! (I'll actually be rooting for it, trick or treating every year for a bday would be awesome!) I really wouldn't be surprised if I end up with a Nov baby though...

LOL... I already have a little Tigger outfit... and a little tee shirt that says "I Love Mummy"... and a red winter snowsuit full-body coat thingy with little teddy bear ears! I love our second hand store. I decided I needed to stay away from the baby section after that. Too tempting.

My sister gave me a bunch of "My First Halloween" outfits she used for her baby last year. None of the infant costumes will fit a newborn, they're made for older babies but the outfits I have are labeled newborn so they should be fine.

I told DH we'll probably go as a "mommy" "daddy" and "baby" for Halloween. Because I don't plan on really going out anywhere. My mom is knitting a pumpkin beanie for the baby, but I kind of want to use that all fall, not just for Halloween.

I'm hoping target has the baby garden knome costumes again---I loved them last year but wasn't pregnant yet. However I could have a girl and a boy knome this year, and they are due early October--but realistically will probably come late September!

Yeah - I agree - that is one of the cutest things I have ever seen. I was thinking we would find a pumpkin costume, but I just love this one!

That candy corn outfit is so freakin cute. I love candy corn!

I haven't decided yet, but I also love Halloween and have thought about it. I would love to have our costumes "go" with LO's outfit, like the baker idea above. I saw two I loved - one where LO is a hot dog and the parents go as baseball fans (Red Sox in our case) and another where LO is a lobster and the parents go as lobster fishermen, with the yellow outfits and hats.

That candy corn thing is too friggin cute!

I doubt we'll actually do anything but I have a great idea so we'll take pictures at the very least. I'm going to dress up as Leela from futurama & the baby will be Nibbler (her pet). My DH will probably be Bender (since Fry would be sort of boring).

Baby is due 10/1, so we are very excited for his first Halloween! DH is retired NYPD, so I am ordering an infant police officer bunting from BRU:

My ILs bought our LO a Halloween onesie with a little pumpkin hat, so he'll for sure be wearing that.

We too can't wait to get a Halloween costume for our baby boy. I'm due October 3 so he will be here in time to get dressed up for the occasion. My husband is a photographer so every little holiday and outfit will be photographed. Obviously we are not planning to go anywhere for Halloween but it will be so much fun to dress up our baby boy. We have a few idesa: pea in a pod, pumpkin, or some sort of martial artist if we can find it.

I know I have stocked up on so many baby clothes shopping garage sales in my area-bc the clothes look brand new (hard to resist when they only ask $1 for an outfit that would be at least $10 at BRU). Got some cute halloween themed baby things too. But I want an "I Love Mummy" tee!

I found last years "My 1st Halloween" onesie at the Carter's outlet for $2 a few months ago so I got that. I wanted to do a skunk but I couldn't find one that was small enough (someone told me to check Baby Gap but I have yet to do so). I do know that one year I am going to make him/her a Weim dog costume....so he/she will look like our "fur-baby"....

I love all the baby pictures! My child will be ELVIS every halloween until he has asks for something else - if I can't name my child ELVIS - then I will dress him up like Elvis!!!
