I would say no! They get paid a decent amount. Also I know a lot of companies don't allow the employees to take tips, you could always call and ask their policy on it.
I would say absolutely yes. I always tip people doing work on my house or yard. Maybe like an extra $10 each? Ahhh. A professionally cleaned house will be blissful.
I would say no. My parents have people come clean their house each week and the only time they give them extra money (a bonus) is when its around a holiday. But I guess it also maybe depends on how much you are paying them in the first place.

We are having the carpets cleaned next tuesday. I'm going to stop and get some donuts and coffee for them in the morning. I don't have enough to tip without it being insulting lol so I figured everyone loves donuts and coffee!!!!

I would not tip them. I have only tipped the cleaning crew if I ask them to do something more than they normally do. (and I really wouldn't call it tipping as much as paying them for doing more work)
I would tip them about $10 a piece. I am jealous - my house needs to be cleaned, but, I am still in the process of unpacking and hanging pictures, etc.

I was under the impression that it was standard to tip someone if they are not the owner of company. We're having our house cleaned by a franchise using a Groupon that we purchased so we're planning to tip the 2 employees that they send.
I am not quite sure how to tip them though. I'm going to have to look to see if there are recommendations from my friend Google.

I have hired weekly housekeepers to get me through the next few months. I deliver in 4 weeks. However, I have never used maid service before. Everything is expensive where I live and I have no idea if and/or what to tip.
Re: NBR: cleaning crew tips?
IMO, I would. Since they're employed by whatever company they work for and what you're paying doesn't directly go into their pockets.
Now, if it was a cleaning lady that was self-employed; or even if the 4 person crew were self employed, then no. Every dime they make goes to them.
