Recommend a TV series

DH and I like to watch TV series on Netflix on the PS3.  We just finished watching Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles. Other shows we have watched all the way through are Lost, Battlestar Galactica, Spartacus, Dr. Who....I like House but DH hates medical/legal dramas.

What shows do you ladies watch?

    They aren't really in the same genre as the ones you listed, but DH and I both like Bones.  We are in the process of watching Weeds now.  I also just started Friday Night Lights, but am not far enough into the series to say for sure if I am hooked or not.

    So I find british shows SO addicting - they are amazing. Some of my favorites are: Monarch of the Glen, Ballykissangel, Doc Martin, Downton Abbey, Hamish MacBeth, Lark Rise to Candleford (that's more girly though) and right now I'm watching "Cold Feet" which is supposed to be the BBC version of "Friends" (and Emily from Friends is in it!) and it's really cute so far!

    I like your taste in shows. We just finished Battlestar and before that watched Terminator: SCC

    I second Dexter. The other shows I like aren't available on streaming yet, but keep Breaking Bad and Fringe in mind. Try Stargate but I'd skip to Atlantis or other later series as SG1 is a bit on the cheesy side.

    Def. this! Also TrueBlood is good, Boardwalk Empire,  and I just recently watched every episode of House (way late, I know) But if you haven't really seen it- it's a really good show.

    Awesome suggestions!!  Thanks!! I have watched True Blood...I am a shameful vampire book/show fan but DH refuses to like them just out of principle. Ha.  I bet he would like Dexter and there are a few listed that I've never even heard of that we will def check out!!  Thanks!

    Dexter is awesome and super addictive. Also, Breaking Bad and True Blood are my other favorites. BTW, I'm with you on the House thing. It's such a good show.

    I think we'd get along great. DH and I have seen all of those, except Dr. Who (and we need to), and are the nerds who think BSG, Sparacus, and Sarah Connor are totally awesome.  :)

    Things that would be up your alley that we love:  Dollhouse, Firefly, Eureka, Smallville (though it gets really corny in the last few seasons), Castle (Captain Mal from Firefly is in it!).

    Other things you'll probably enjoy: Mad Men, Dexter, True Blood, Glee, 30 Rock, Pillars of the Earth.

    Most of these have been dramas, but I've got to recommend Arrested Development if you haven't seen it. Also, Psych is good and I agree with Dexter! I don't know if it's still on Instant or not, though. I think they took it off. Definitely give Arrested Development a try, though!

    Dexter is the best ever. We also really liked Lie To Me, although there are only 2 seasons available to watch. I'm working my way through Weeds now, as well as Medium, though that's probably a little on the legal drama side. 
    After 2 miscarriages and a pre-term birth (34 weeks gestation due to PROM), our healthy baby girl is growing up fast! Lilypie Fourth Birthday tickers

    30 Rock, Pushing Daisies, Parks and Recreation...I also watched Cheers and 3rd Rock from the Sun (something a little more fun and less plot driven).  Depending on your sense of humor, Party Down is also hilarious.

    It was only on for one season (which is an effin tragedy!) but try "Swingtown" on Netflix. Great series!!!!

    It's not available yet, I'm sure, but we are really loving Game of Thrones.  DH is also a huge Dexter and Fringe fan.  We both enjoy Hawaii Five-O (the new version).

    DH and I LOVED The Unit. Then we watched Ally McBeal, until the 5th season when it was unbearable... lol   Now we're on Smallville and loving it so far.

    Jess & Adam, married 2009, precious Audrey born in 2011. BFP 1/6/13, 6-wk MMC discovered at 9 wks 2/11/13. D&C 2/18/13, second D&C 4/23/13 for retained placenta.
    BFP 8/24/13!! EDD 5/1/14, delivered healthy and sweet Zoey Leanne on 5/5/14 by repeat c-section.

    you have the same taste as my husband and myself (except he will watch house and likes CSI - not l&o though).  We are rewatching the x-files from the begining. (9 seasons, 22 1 hour episodes, lots of TV to watch) and we enjoyed firefly.

    Yes definitely Dexter. I just got through Bones on my netflix. Both are kinda medical but, really good. I'm not into the medical/legal dramas, either. I've Nip/Tuck is really good but can't bring myself to watch it.
