The only way I would spend a ton on a stroller is if I were still living in Chicago. We used to live in the city and walk EVERYWHERE. A good stroller is a necessity there. Some of the sidewalks are rough, and cheapo strollers just cannot handle it when the weather isn't great (snow, etc...). I don't think I would really pay $1,500, but I would spend a good chunk if it were one I really liked. I would only drive once in a blue moon.
If I am just living here, however, no way. I am in and out of a car, so I need an easy, small stroller. That would be nuts! This donkey stroller looks HUGE and like a burden, in my opinion.
Must be nice to have that kind of money to blow on a stroller. I have other things I need my money to go toward. Why anyone needs a stroller for $1500 is beyond me.

Thats a good point. I could definatly see needing a really durable and good stroller for city life.
I agree with PPs. At the end of the day, what does it matter to you what people choose to spend on a stroller?
I suppose thats what makes this board great; everyone has different opinon. Some don't mind shelling out the cash while I think it's a bit much. To awnser your question, I don't care what other people spend on a stroller. $1,500 is just crazy to me.
Price aside, the donkey? Seriously? That is the best name they could come up with?
Bahaha, I was thinking that. WTF Bugaboo, WTF?
You're buggin what you're buggin who?
So What You Bought A Pair Of Shoes What Now I Guess You Think I Owe You You Don't Have To Call As Much As You Do I'll Give 'em Back To Be Through With You And So What My Momma Likes You What Now I Guess You Think I Will Too Even If The Pope Said He Likes You Too

I wish you understood how often either Dh or I end up singing this song, because it happens a lot.

In Israel, the standard price for a good stroller is 800-1000 dollars, mostly because of importation costs... Therefore we decided to buy a very expensive stroller that was originally very expensive, not originally cheap with lots of tax added onto it. We basically walk everywhere though, so we get a lot of use out of it and will definitely keep it for #2.
It's a good thing this stroller wasn't out last summer. It seems like an amazing stroller for twins. It's hard to find a side-by-side stroller that holds two infant car seats. I looked at the Easywalker, which is also expensive, but I didn't like the features.
Our Baby Jogger City Select with all the attachments was $$$, but well worth it. I wouldn't shell out this amount of money for a single child, but it seems with twins everything is more expensive.
Re: This is ridiculous: $1,500 stroller?

Hmm, I have been here since first tri. I guess I missed the debate somehow. Thanks for the clue in though.
Everyone has different needs...I've always lived somewhere where I walk more than I drive and Graco isn't going to do it for me.

Bahaha, you two are awesome!
Why would anyone pay 60-70+ grand for a car or spend 2 or 3 on a handbag? Have you ever pushed one? You'd be sold as well if you had the cash to burn.
LMAO-we did, we did-the first time around the block.
