Christus St. Catherine

Has anyone delivered here? Or heard anything about the L&D there? They may be my only hospital option- so wanting to get some opinions.

    I used to work there so I hope this response doesn't come across as partial or snarky.  I worked in the ER and on Med/Surg but was floated down to L&D on a regular basis. 

    Delivery wise I think their care is pretty standard.  The physicians that deliver there are pretty great.  The nurses on the other hand leave a little bit to be desired, especially in L&D.  Some of the nurses just don't have much personality or snap.  They like to keep you in your room, no walking in hallways.  They also don't like you to labor very long.  They have seperate delivery and post partum rooms, delivery is nice space wise but I didn't really care for the pp rooms. 

    Is that the only hospital your OB delivers at??  I would honestly choose MMH Katy in a heartbeat.  The care I recieved there was excellant.
