I was wondering what people thought is the best stroller for the beach for my son that was born in March. I want something that can easily get on the beach and is good for walking by the water and that he can also nap in...
The only stroller I had good luck with on the beach was the Bob Revolution. I tried three strollers and it was the only one that made it through the sand. It reclines and my little one sleeps in it even now when she's 3.

I found that it was still basically impossible to push my bob in loose sand. And probably any stroller with thicker tires will work on the packed sand, I've used my Uppa Baby Vista on the hard sand with no issues. If you want it specifically for the sand then I'd look for something lightweight and folds easily for carrying to the packed sand, and something with thick wheels for strolling.
If I were you I would skip the stroller and get a ring sling or carrier. Not only can baby sleep comfortably in it, but you can walk anywhere, get wet, and relax without having to hassle with a stroller.

agreed. I have a cheaper banana stroller I intend to use for the walk to the beach/ on the boardwalk, but I wouldn't want to try to fuss with one in the sand.

We used a jogging stroller (the tires have air in them like a bike) last weekend and it worked well. I wasn't the one pushing it though, but my husband said it worked just fine.
i would second the bob revolution. best beach stroller ever. i used it all the time with ds the past two summers and as a bonus, it's a great snow/ice, trails, gravel, grass stroller too.
i could hang my diaper bag over the back handles ( i have a skip hop that snaps on) load up the bottom with towels, and it pushed fine through the sand. i think it helps that the wheels inflate.
