Yes...first year of daycare will equal lots of sickness. However, I feel that its better to build their immune systems now as opposed to when they are in grade school. It's hard to see your little guy sick though!
Is it bad that we just send Viv anyway, so long as she doesn't have a fever? The first couple of months she was a snot bomb and had an ugly cough. We took her to get checked out and the pedi's diagnosis was 'Daycareitis' so she kept on going. If we'd kept her home the whole time she was coughing she'd have been out for 2 months (it was complicated by allergies and she and DH seem to follow similar allergy patterns.)
I think the worst we've had was an ugly viral rash, which they told us another little girl had had the week before so we didn't even bother going to the pediatrician -- it cleared up on its own.
But I'd rather her be sick now than later even though it sucks.
Re: Ah, first week of daycare= sick.
Feel better D!
(I console myself by saying every cold they have now is a cold they won't have later?)
4 Fresh IVF cycles + 1 FET where embies didn't survive the thaw = 2 perfect little men!
sFET 11/9/11 - Beta 11/18 BFP!

Poor kiddo...I hope he feels better soon.
