Please Recommend (or not!) your Pack 'n Play!

I am looking for a Pack 'n Play that is good quality, not too expensive (under $200), EASY to use and travel with, and not super heavy.  I've read review upon review and can't decide!  I would like a changing table and diaper storage, but nearly all of the pack 'n plays with those things can't fit the changing table into the travel bag.  So what's the point of having them then?  I would also like one that can be used for quite awhile (some have a weight limit of 15 lbs!).  Please help!

  • We have the Graco PnP with the newborn napper and changing table. We never used either of those features because you aren't supposed to put the baby in there with those things attached, and it's not super easy to get them off. So those were a waste of money. We also never use our music or vibration because we never hooked it up. So, in my opinion, those features are unnecessary. A simple one where it can be a bassinet or play yard is what I recommend. Oh! Also, the mattress part of ours seems uncomfortable, but I think maybe they all are.

  • we have the evenflo mini suite. we bought it at BRU but they don't sell it anymore. Its really easy to put together, but i will say that it is on the heavy side and I wish the "mattress pad" was softer.the bassinet part has a weight limit of 15lbs, but the main part has a much higher weight limit

I knew we wouldn't use a changing table and didn't really need any thing else.  I do like the bar w/ the toys on it, Z enjoys looking at them.  Plus it wasn't crazy expensive since we really only use it when not in the house.

  • We have the Graco Pippin, it's just your basic pack n' play - no changing station, nothing. It has a mobile but otherwise it's just the plain pack 'n play. It's SUPER light, easy to travel with, all fits in the travel bag.

  • We have the Graco PNP with the changing table and napper.  DD never liked the napper and has already outgrown the changing table.  But I loved the changing table feature when we could use - it provided a second changing station in the living room for her.  Now the PNP is set up for nap time in the living room.

But we love it so far all though I have not traveled with it yet as we use a RNP for night time and that is what we currently travel with - but she is going to be outgrowing it soon as well.

  • We have the Chicco Lullaby LX Playyard.  I love it.  It has a changer on it that's really easy to use.  Since we live in a split level home it's not always convenient to go upstairs to change a diaper, so we often use the changer on this.  It does not have the "Newborn Napper" attachment that a lot of the Gracos have, but it does have a bassinet feature (they all probably have that).  The "mat" that goes on the bottom is washable, too.  It is fairly heavy, but has wheels on one side and when packed up those wheels show stick out of the bag to make transport easier.  It was easy to set up and it's easy to break down, too.  I haven't tried, yet, to fit the changer into the bag, but I believe it has to be broken down before it will fit.  Since it's easy enough to put together, it's not a big deal.

  • I have the carters comfort center play yard and changing center. We love it. it has a changing table, diaper organizer, it has the lifted section for younger babies. Packs up easily, travels easily.

  • We have the Graco PnP with napper and changing table.  It was a life saver and we used it everyday for the first 6 weeks.  However, after 6 weeks she started to outgrow in length the napper and the changing table didn't look like it was going to really hold the 15 lb weight limit IMO.  We took both parts off at 6 weeks and put it into storage for now.  Probably will not use it again unless we travel or need it for babysitting at other homes for naps/sleeping.
