Just for fun: what would your name have been in 2010?

I stole this from the June 2011 Birth Month board:

Go here: https://www.ssa.gov/oact/babynames/ and scroll down to the "Popular Names by Birth Year" box to search the year you were born (I suggest changing the default from Top 20 to Top 1000). Locate your name on the list and it's rank.

Then, search the year 2010 and find the name in the same rank.

 

For example:

I was born in 1979 and my name is Amanda, which was ranked #3. In 2010, the #3 name was Emma.  :)

    p.s. it makes me throw up in my mouth a little that the top two names in 2010 were the characters from Twilight. I hope we can still be friends.

    LOL I don't know a thing about Twilight, I'm completely uninterested in the entire Vampire phenom.

    FWIW - Jacob and Isabella have been towards the top of the charts for a long time now. 

    My name was obscure way back when and still is.  Not on the top 1000 names.

    EEWW!!!  I just played for DS.  If he had been born 1 year later, his name would have been Diego.  Ick!  Go, Diego, Go!

    My name wasn't in the top 1000 the year I was born.  However, if I had been born 1 year earlier, it was at 992, so in 2010 I would have been Lilith. Confused

    My name is Cheryll (with 2 L's).  That's not on the list, but Cheryl is.  It was #74 the year I was born.  The # 74 name in 2010 was Faith.  I am definitely not a Faith.

    All three of my sisters are OBSESSED with this stupid series.... I'm surprised my nieces aren't named Isabella.

    I liked Isabella before twilight... such a pretty name. I liked "Bell/Bella" since I was 5. Bell is IMO the best disney princess. :-) But now I wouldn't consider it, especially since we have a VERY common last name.

    My name is Aundraya, but I know that's not on the list!  Andrea in 1989 was #39  so my name would have been Evelyn in 2010.   I prefer Aundraya.

    My DH's was pretty funny.  Joel was #85 in 1988, and it would have been Diego in 2010!
