We're leaving DD from Friday at about noon until sometime early Sunday afternoon. I am planning to leave ~100 ounces of breastmilk with my parents for her - this should be enough for one full day and two partial days right?
I have at least 200 ounces in my stash, so I can send more, but I calculated a high milk intake (~30 ounces/day) x 3 full days and then added 10 more ounces.
Sound good?
Re: XP: 100 ounces for three days?
I'd say you're spot on. And I'm insanely jealous of your 200 oz stash- I have a hot 5 oz!
um this. How is the hell do you ever get 200 oz of frozen bm?
I wish I would have pumped in my early over supply days!!! BOO!!!!!!!
Me too!
you'd hate me then. I've been storing the stuff since DD was 4days old and right now I have about 1300 oz in a freezer in our basement.
I don't pump on a set schedule. I always pump in the morning after DD eats. I will pump between 1 and 3 times at work, depending on my schedule (I sometimes am able to go home to DD after a few hours and work from there, instead of at the office). I never pump after I get home - never before bed (we don't have a set routine or anything) and absolutely never overnight. So I really don't know how I do it.
I usually get 6-10 ounces per pumping session.
I respond really well to the pump, which helps - I use a Lansinoh Affinity Double Electric.
