Where did you get them? They are so cute. I am thinking about getting a couple of soakers and a skirtie to use next fall once my baby is here and I can get the proper size on her. Since Texas doesn't get too cold I did not think that investing in longies would be really necessary. How many months do you feel like you can keep Lucy in one particular size? Since wool is a bit more expensive I want to make sure I don't go crazy/overboard too early on!

I live in Texas, too. We have several pairs of longies. Both of my babes are still wearing them to bed at night. If we are staying home, in the air conditioning, I keep them in their longies. (especially the baby!). And most of our wool is recycled, so it was fairly inexpensive!

A TON. They were like eight pounds when I pulled them off her lol.
For those asking where I got them: the seller is T-Bone & Applesauce on HC. Looks like she has a few custom spots open. The shorties were $45, which I thought was super reasonable given how much detail there is.

Not to contradict Jenny or anything like that, but I emailed the lady earlier this morning, and she said she'll post up an auction for these beach shorties next week at her shop, and unfortunately those will be her lasts. Here's a direct quote from her.
Hi! Thanks for your interest in my beach shorties. I'm currently finishing up my last custom for these and am considering listing an auction for one final custom on my Hyena Cart store. It will be my last pair. Please check my store next week. :-)

Oh, bummer. :-(
Well, maybe someone will be able to score them cheap. I don't believe she's super well known (I randomly came upon a post of hers at DS).
Those are so cute! I thought they were cute when you posted but I think I like them way better on than just by themselves! I might have to watch for the listing
Edit: though if they are already made when she lists them my chances are slim of them fitting Finley

My guess is it will be a custom spot. She wanted SUPER detailed measurements from me and wanted me to pick out the colors of the pail and stuff. :-)
Re: PIP of Lucy in her new shorties
OMG. So so so so so so cute! I must get my hands on them...

My favorite cloth diaper shop!

How much water did the wool absorb? ;op

Well, just know that I am very very jealous
I am gonna give it a shot, but doubt I would get it since DH doesn't get the whole "yarn pants" thing and thinks they are all overpriced. sigh
