CP: Does SO have pg symptoms?

Sorry I only thought of this this morning, so it's more of a CPT! I swear DH may be pregnant himself....he's gone up a pants size (1st time in the 7 years we've been together!), he has more cravings than I do lately! Plus he's been moody and tired. He's stealing my thunder!!![Poll]

  • I like that the word "manly" is in quotation marks.

  • He's definitely nesting, if that counts.

  • You must have read my mind. I was going to post about this as well.

DH has had all kinds of sympathy "symptoms" - last night he had heartburn for the first time EVER, he's gained 15 lbs. (mostly because we've stopped playing sports together and he finishes meals that I cannot), he's been nauseous here and there...

The funny this is that he would make a much better pregnant person than I do. Too bad we can't switch!

  • YES!  MH has gone up two pant sizes!  He's gained at least 20 lbs, which is crazy b/c I've gained 23 lbs at almost 33 wks pregnant.  I still buy and cook all the same healthy foods so I don't know where his weight gain is coming from.  Maybe I should be glad so we can lose the weight together, but if I continue to gain just the recommended amount, I'm going to lose most of it in the first few days/weeks and he's going to have a lot of work to do!

  • I haven't noticed any pregnancy symptoms, but the last week it really seems to be hitting him. He seems anxious, almost nervous, and he's constantly muttering under his breath about needing to find more side jobs. I think he's worried about finances. Sad He's been taking on tons of overtime, working weekends as much as possible, all that jazz. I have faith we'll be fine. Smile I think it's just the "papa bear" coming out.

  • He only has one symptom, and that's going pee a lot in the middle of the night! :) He told me this yesterday. He never usually has to go but now he's going 2-3 times, that just cracks me up!

  • DH is definitely getting emotional.  Even moreso than with DS.  He has lost about 30 lbs since I got pregnant and I almost hate him for that.  That's about it.

Oh ya I forgot about that one, he is up almost as many times as I am!

  • DH has actually LOST weight!  He's definitely nesting and getting a lot of things ready for baby's arrival.  He's always been a bit of a softy and now it seems as though he is more so when he sees babies etc!

  • Since he's overseas... I think he's got more hormones running than I do!
