I have to post and run, but I just wanted to tell you ladies that I'm taking notes 'cause I'm on vacation in Orlando, FL and right by Disney World (DH is on business trip here so hotel is paid for by his work) so I'll punch all of these characters for you.

I have a love-hate thing going on with Ariel. I love her spunk and quirkiness and independence, and her relationship with her dad reminds me sooo much of my dad and me!

I have always felt the same way! I love Disney Princess movies but it disturbs me how young they are all supposed to be. I'm pretty sure that:

Ariel, Aurora and Jasmine are all supposed to be 16,

Belle was 19ish (and BTW does anyone else find it odd that the Beast only had until his 21st birthday to have someone fall in love with him but in 'Be Our Guest' they sing 'Ten years we've been rusting'??), but was 14 in the original story

Cinderella was around 14-16

Mulan was between 14 and 16,

Snow White is supposed to be between 7 and 14 depending on the story

Pocahontas is supposed to be about 17 in the movie but in reality was between 10 and 12

Um...yeah I seriously luff you Choices...

I agree...what the heck? I'd like to see a disney movie where the "princess" is older! With a job! And a brain!
Oh I take that back...the princess and the frog was pretty good cuz she was all of that. It's probably why I liked it better....she had guts!
