Could baby be stuck?

This might sound like a really dumb question but im going to ask anyway because I am curious. Heres the story first...

I had my peri visit this morning and he did an ultrasound and all and she looked great but she had her head tucked into her chin and her feet and hands all in her face. She was head down finally but the doc was trying to move her and she wouldnt budge out the the head tucked position. The movements I have been feeling the last few days are kind of like she is fluttering her feet trying to get out of the position she is in and it is making me feel like her head is stuck or something and she cant get out. Is this even possible? The doctor would have said something right?

The movements just feel weird like I said like shes kicking her feet to try and get free or something. Maybe this is normal and if it let me know and I will shut up!! Thanks Geeked

Re: Could baby be stuck?

  • I def. don't think she can be stuck- esp so early, they still have a lot of room to flip around. Maybe she just found a comfy spot she likes? lol

I don't think you have to worry about them being squished up in there until they are about ready to come out!  Aside from that though- My girl's kicks have been very similar lately (that fluttery type of feeling) I don't really think there is reason for concern though!

  • She is really tiny at this stage. She is just really stubborn, that's all. :) Also, she's head-down and ready to go here in a few months, so that's good news, not bad news. ;) At my 20 week u/s with my DD, she was head-down and very stubborn about moving so the tech could get good measurements. (She was so rough with that ultrasound wand, trying to get her to move, too... yowch!) My DD was born vaginally and at 20 weeks or 27, they are really itty bitty.
