So...May 21 is supposedly Judgement Day.

Mark 13:32 - "But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father."
Therefore, judgement day can't be May 21, if you believe the bible. And if you don't believe the bible, then why are you so sure there even IS a judgement day? Just sayin'.
"No one knows the day or the hour except for the father himself" Matt 24:36 So, whoever said this doesn't know.
All of this hasn't happened yet.

DH and I have discussed this. His Nana is a very good-hearted 94 year-old Portuguese Catholic who adopted two foster children as older children and still has one living with her while he manages severe mental illness.
The baby shower is at her house on the 21st.
If Nana disappears during the baby shower, we'll all know what's up.

So...if the world ends on May 21, can I take back my Bridal Shower gift for the shower on the 22nd and use that money on a prenatal massage?
Yeah...I'm going with the good book...There's still ALOT of stuff that's supposed to happen first before the world ends!
Of the many things I find funny about the end of the world being Saturday, two of them from this article that stand out are that the guy who picked May 21 had a different date set originally, in 1994, and then "fixed" it when it didn't happen, claiming he hadn't finished his research yet.
I also can't believe people believe SO STRONGLY in this that they've spent all their savings because they don't think they are going to need it. Isn't it a bit presumptuous to assume that even IF this happens on May 21, you are going to be raptured?

This is why I dont believe in religion, look at the bull crap that gets spewed & people believe so strongly in it because "GOD SAYS SO" that they lose sight of reality.
Since I don't believe in God or Jesus...I am unfazed by when the date is and if/when it will really happen. Because no matter when it happens and if its real...I'm fvcked.
