mucousy poop question

last night dd woke up crying around midnite. i went to go check on her and i could smell her as soon as i opened the door. her dipe was nothing but mucous and it smelled atrocious. she has just started eating regular table food meals over the past week but this was the first time i have seen this. yesterday she did have quesadillas and i dont believe she has ever had much cheese before so i am thinking that might have contributed. but she tolerates other dairy just fine.

wondering if anyone had any experience in this or maybe it's just a stomach bug.

    My good friend just went through a long series of tests with a GI doc in order to determine why her daughter was having mucousy poop. Turns out she had an intolerance to fructose. Anyways, I would wait and see if it continues, or if it is just a one time thing. If it does continue, definitely contact your pedi.
