his first night in his "new" crib was pretty funny - we set him in it, and he looked up at us with this WTF?? look. when he woke up, he kept looking around, because before he could lift his head and see us walk into the room. now, not so much.

but I'm sure it won't be long before he's pulling himself up on the crib rungs. ::sighs::

We have to do this soon. Sadie's new thing is to try to pull all the bumpers down when she wakes us, it's pretty funny but I'm sure it's a pre-curser to pulling herself up.

Yeah we have to move the mattress down soon too. Ave has been trying to pull herself up. It makes me sad. It means our babies are growing up!

burrito didn't go for the bumpers yet - when I was ironing the other day, he actually sat up, reached for the outside of the crib rail, and pulled himself up to try to grab the iron. he's too big for his own good, lol. hasn't quite figured out the forward-crawling thing yet, but I'm glad he has learned to sit from a laying position.

I have no idea what your babies are doing but my baby has stopped growing. It's true because I say so.

At this rate I feel like I'm never going to have to lower the crib mattress. Nibs doesn't roll or anything in the crib. She's all business when she goes in there. Even when she wakes up after sleeping she just lays on her back playing with her feet.

Good Lord you are lucky! I want a baby that just lays there and goes to sleep and just lays there when she wakes up. Ave is all about making sure she crawls/scoots on every single inch of her crib!!
