Update on me: The cerclage is out!

To sum it up, it was not painless. BP is high. Bed rest is done but I have to take it easy still.

I am 1cm dilated, 80% effaced and she's engaged at station zero, all before getting up off the table. OB thinks we will have a baby this week, not sure if she means due to the cervix or the high blood pressure. She almost didn't let me leave today because it was so high but luckily my nerves went down after the stitch was out and she ended up letting me go but wants me back in 3 days. I'm in denial I guess because I think we have at least a week left...of course if the numbers stay down.

DH is off so we are about to watch a movie, just wanted to update real fast!

I am very happy it is out!

It's been a long road for you up until this point, and I'm sure you must feel relieved that this chapter is over! I'm so glad to hear it went well, and that you're getting to spend some quality time with your husband before the craziness begins. Stick out tongue

Sorry it was painful. Hopefully, she'll be in another 5 days so you can go officially full term. I'm sure by this point though, she'll be fine no matter when she comes.

thank you all! We just finished Black Swan. I do not get they hype!

Anyways, we did go out to eat after the appt and it was amazing. DH's friend is the chef at this awesome Italian Restaurant so we went to try it out for the first time. Just finished my left over dinner!

Tomorrow I have lunch plans with a friend and I'm driving there! Woo Hoo. After that I'll cruise on over to a baby boutique I've been wanting to go to. I'm guessing after that it will be nap time. haha.

Glad everything is going well!! Other then the BP... ugh. My BP has been high lately too, but the midwife thinks it is because of being in pain for a long time. She has been making sure no protein in my urine. Good luck this week!!!
