LO has been in day care for 2 weeks and already caught her first cold.  She was so pitiful last night, moaning and groaning like she was in pain.  I took her to the dr. to make sure it wasn't RSV or pnemonia and turns out it's a cold.  I feel so sorry for her.  I hope she gets better soon but I hate to admit that I'm not too upset to be out of work on a Monday :)

    Poor thing, it's just pitiful to see them when they are not feeling right. As the nurse at my Lo's pedi would say "give her lots of sugar." After she shot her up with needles, made her drink the rotavirus and was hysterically crying. Snuggle with her and try to enjoy not being at work.

    That sucks. I'm SAHMing it for now, but both my brother and I were daycare kids and my parents said we got sick a lot when we were little. On the plus side since we were sick so much as babies by the time we got to elementary school our immune systems were pretty strong and we didn't miss much school.

    Same thing here.  My LO got a cold and she was in her second week of day care.  I hope your LO gets better quickly!
