Fun Baby Shower!

I had my baby shower on saturday - 4 days after having Michael via c section. It was so fun! My sister in law who hosted had developed pictures of Michael and had them in little frames on each table. I had just gotten out of the hospital on friday night so I was pretty tired but still on the adrenaline high from having him. I have been feeling so good we decided to just go ahead with the shower and get it done. We got so many things and it was so fun to be able to tell the birth story and have the pictures so everyone could see him. (No one is allowed to visit him in the NICU except me and DH). It kind of made me feel a little better about leaving him in the hospital to have something to do - we can now get his room ready and prepare for him to come home! What a great weekend!

    Did I miss a birth announcement? I didn't know anyone other than Katie had their baby last week! What happened? How's your little one doing? Do you know how long he will be in the NICU?

    Congrats, momma!  I'm glad that you're feeling better and that you got to enjoy your baby shower. I'm looking forward to seeing some pics of Michael!

    Sending T&P your way that you'll have a fast recovery from the c-section and Michael will get to come home very soon!

    Hopefully this link works - I posted last tuesday. Had him at 11:50 am on tuesday may 10.

    Thanks for you thought and prayers! He is continuing to improve every day!

    I actually don't know how to post pics so I haven't posted any yet... :(

    He hopefully will be in NICU for only a couple more weeks. They are taking him out of the isolette tonight hopefully as he is doing well with body temp. Still on oxygen but off the ventilator as of friday so that is good!

    Oh wow, I completely missed your post! How scary that must've been for you. I'm so glad that he's doing well, though. I can't believe how big he is!

    Try uploading a pic to www.tinypic.com. Then, come back to the Bump and click on the button that says "Insert/edit image" (it's the button with a picture of a tree). Paste the URL from TinyPic where it says "Image URL". Hopefully that makes sense...
