DH is staying home from work today

Well this will be interesting b/c he thinks I just sit on my butt & that I don't do anything....he will be very suprised how much time DS takes up!!! LOL but he might not notice it b/c he is still sleeping & DS & I have been awake for almost 2 hrs, lol!!! He deserves to sleep in b/c he has been working hard.

LOL, my DH is home today too.
Of course, the only thing he's done since he got up was email work to tell him that he was taking a sick day.
So far, I've gotten DS up, gave him breakfast, done two loads of laundry, made more coffee, vacuumed, mopped and cleaned the downstairs bathroom.
I told him if he wanted to give me a hand, he could go in DS's playroom with him and play to keep him out of my hair for a few extra minutes.
The funny thing about this is that normally DH is all "I don't understand why you let him out of his play room by 9am". Um, because that's the OTHER part of my job - you know, to teach our kid stuff, play with him, let him explore, etc. So all of my work needs to be done by 8:30ish.
Um, honey, I love you, but I don't come to your job and tell you how to do it. Today you're in MY office and you'll follow the rules!! ::cracks whip::
ETA: The reason he's off "sick" today is because he didn't sleep well last night. He's not really sick, LOL.
Hehe, true true!!!! I joke with DH about this if he stays home from r.
In all honesty though it would bother me so much if DH thought I did nothing all day, I would feel unappreciated. Maybe a talk/day in your shoes is in order?
