When is your baby shower(s) going to be?
Mine is creeping up fast! Only 2 more weeks. It will be so nice to gather with family and friends and celebrate this LO. I'm excited.
When is yours going to be? Have you already had one? If so, how was it?

I really didn't want to be surprised. My family got me at my bridal shower, and I looked like complete CRAP the day of my shower! I warned them about the baby shower, I already feel fat and ugly, please don't surprise me.
Mine isn't a shower...just a sprinkle with about 13 of my close friends.

July 30 - my best friend is throwing one for just my girlfriends

July 9th- My FI's dad's side of the family-couples nautical themed shower
July 16th- Friend shower
Phew!
No idea, my mom & BFF are throwing the shower. But it seems they haven't decided whether to tell me when it is or not. I've informed them that I want to be dressed correctly, not my normal jeans & tee. If I had to guess, I think it would be in June.
I also just found out the DH's family that lives across the country wants to throw a "shower" for us next spring. I know, sounds kinda strange. But they can't get here before the baby and we can't make it out there, so next spring seems to be the the timeframe.

Same with mine...I'm very nervous about it. I hate being the center of attention and my DH is unable to be there due to a work trip to Europe. I'm also excited though, because I know my mom and sister have worked really hard to make it nice!

I am not sure when my work shower will be and then I will have another one to "meet the LO" probably sometime in Sept. I am so blessed to have so many wonderful people in my life:)
My family/friends shower was last Saturday, and it was simply AMAZING!! My favorite girls really outdid themselves (and this was after a wine tasting-themed bridal shower!!) They incorporated our bumble bee nursery theme throughout and really did a wonderful job! I can't rave enough about it!!!
My work threw me one this past Thursday, and it was equally amazing! People are sooo generous, it knocked my socks off! And these are people I work with, everyday! It was the highest turnout at any HR-event, and actually included some of the non-HR folks that I support -- it just blew me away... Completely unexpected, but I'm extremely grateful!
Both my mom/MIL/friends and my work colleagues that hosted the showers were fearful that I would be put out on bedrest in the not-too-distant future, so they went on the earlier side to ensure that I would be there... I'm thankful for that, as it helped us figure out what we need to get, and get somewhat organized before the twins invasion!
I had one on April 30th for family & then I'm having another on June 18th for my closest girlfriends!
