  I have used different noodles depending on what I have in the cupboard... but never spaghetti.  I would think it would just be more messy than the other noodles (because of less surface area to cover with the cheese sauce).   Maybe some sort of baked mac and cheese would be a little less runny?

  My dad used to make this all of the time for us and call is "Cheesy Sketti."
