  Frances is the feminine of Francis, which is DH's dad's first name. Clara is my great grandmother's first name. Neither one is more "special" to us than the other, though. They're kind of old lady-ish, but we like them!

  I've always loved Frances.  I think it would make a nice first name cause you can call her Frankie for short, which is super adorable.
