This is group designed for all the ladies in the various stages of waiting after a loss: waiting to miscarry, waiting for AF to arrive, waiting to TTC again, and waiting for a BFP. Since this process is such a true test in patience, it is nice to have the support and friendship of other women going through similar experiences and emotions.

Question of the day: Do you have siblings and if so, what is your birthorder? Yes, two sisters. I am in the middle!
Are you close with them? Yes, very tight w/ my older sister. We are best friends and very close in age. not as much w/ younger sis. 7 year age gap, but I love her. she is more like an only child.
Are there any special traditions/activities you do together? I skype w/ my sister in the kitchen for hours over breakfast on the weekend. I lovE it! (she lives in Rio de Janeiro)

I am waiting on O this week. I am hoping that the random reoccurance of AF was a fluke and is not going to make my cycle wonky this month.
QOTD: There are three of us. My sister is the oldest, then my brother and then me. I am very close to both of them. We are closer to each other than we are to our parents.
I'm a little sad that we don't have any BFPs to report today, but there are a lot of ladies in the 2ww so we will have another wave in the next two weeks! FX for all of you ladies!!!!

QOTD: I have 2 brothers and 1 sister. My brothers are 14 and 13 years older than me and my sister is 9 years older than me. Even though I have siblings, I sometimes think of myself as an only child because they were all moving out of the house before I was a teenager. I'm not super close with my brothers but not estranged. It sort of ebbs and flows. My sister and I NEVER got along until she got engaged and started planning her wedding. She picked her date and it was 8 weeks before my wedding date so we planned our weddings together. Lots of wedding shows, dress shopping, etc. We even did our engagement photos together. Then she had her 2 DCs and we got pretty close. Since I've had DS, we have grow apart a bit. She doesn't like that DS is taking the attention off of her kids.

No siblings, I'm an only child. I was never a child who wished for a brother or sister. I'm very close to my parents and friends. That was enough for me :-)

DH has a job!! We found out yesterday that his is NOT laid-off. This means we are officially TTC. The news could not have come at a better time because today AF showed! I am waiting to O!!!!!!
QOTD: I have an older sister (15 months apart) and a younger sister (7 years apart). My older sister and I are best friends. She has been living with us for almost a month now and we have not had any arguments or disagreements. We get along so well. We love to go get pedicures together.
AF showed Yesterday!!! I was super excited. DH and I are still not avoiding but not trying at the moment.

WOW! I knew we were alike, but that is a little creepy. I posted my response before I read yours. Both the middle child, best friends with our older sister and the younger sister is a 7 year gap. WOW!!
I was just thinking the same thing about you two.
I am still in my 2ww, this is my first cycle since we were able to try again after my D&C. I am so nervous. I'm anxious to test. I'm scared of how I"m going to feel if I get a BFP, I'm also scared of how I will feel if I get AF. I guess you can say right now I'm just pretty nervous/anxious about the whole thing, its hard not to think that I should be 21 weeks pregnant right now! it makes me so mad!!!
anyways, I can feel that today is going to be a hard day.

I have 1 brother he is 30, I am 26 (will be 27 on June 14th) I am pretty close to my brother, him and my DH are good friends. WE don't really have any special traditions or activites we do together, we are always together during the holidays though which is nice.

I got my bfp yesterday morning after what I was convinced was af spotting. I'm seeing the doctor today and hopefully getting my first betas! I just want to say I am so grateful for this board and all the strong wonderful women I've shared this journey with and I am rooting for all of you and hoping the wave continues! *HUGS*

i have two sisters; one older and one younger. i'm the middle baby!
Are you close with them?
i am very close with my older sister (5 years older than me), she's my best friend in the whole world. my younger sister is 7 years younger then me, so we are close, but the age difference was kind of hard growing up. now that she's getting older, we are growing closer. well, as close as we can considering i am 3,000 miles away.
Are there any special traditions/activities you do together?
not really, now that i live in NV and they are in PA. i need to get my webcam's up and do the skype thing like winter does! that sounds really nice!
oh and i'm still in my 2WW. probably testing sometime next week!

Because of the great "Snow"vember of 2015, my medicated cycle was cancelled. However, we were blessed with our little rainbow baby due on 8/14/15! Baby J had other plans and decided to make his grand ole entrance on 7/4/2015!
Surprise! Our little girl entered this world on 12/8/2016 after her eviction notice was long past due. Our little turkey baby turned into a snow baby!

On a snap hormone driven decision, the Hubs and I decided we would TTC this month instead of waiting until June this past weekend. I am now in the 2ww. This 2ww wait is so different than the ones before the m/c. I am excited but in a really nervous jaded kind of way.

I have an older sister. We aren't very close but we each know that we'll be there if the other needs us. We don't really have too many traditions. We always eat in a certain restaurant every time we go to Epcot.
I got + OPKS yesterday and this morning, so i'm thinking I'm heading into the 2ww for the first time since our loss!!
QOTD: I have an older sister and a younger brother. I'm the middle child, and the only one w/out kids of my own. We don't really have any traditions or things that we always do, but we are very close, although my brother has distanced himself from me a some since our loss which is a little sad to me.

QOTD: I have one brother. I'm the oldest. We are very close. We have a very strong bond through music. We both play guitar. I started years ago, maybe 16 or 17 years, and he's more recent, 4 or 5 years. But, we both love the same music and have played in a band together.

I'm new here. I'm foxxy. I was on the TTGP board and the Dec 2011 moms board. Our little jellybean went to heaven about three weeks ago and we're officially TTA until August 2011 so I'm really looking forward to that date like it's Christmas, lol. I post a little on the Pregnancy Loss/Miscarriage board and talking about my loss has helped tremendously so I decided to scoot over here.

I have two older brothers. I'm the youngest. We don't really do anything special, honestly. I think we're pretty close, we talk once a week.
this is our first cycle TTC after our miscarriage in march. i felt like we were getting busy on all the right days but i was only checking cm and listening to my body, i'm just so sick of temping! anyway, trying to be hopeful, i think AF is due tomorrow and no sign of her but since i didn't temp i could be off on my O date.
Siblings: I actually have 5, an older sister and 2 younger sisters and 2 younger brothers. my parents were divorced and remarried so the 4 younger ones were all from the new marriages. i try so hard to be close with all of them but it definitely waxes and wanes.
also praying for a BFP... I had a dip at 8 DPO and now its been high the last two days... hoping that was an implantation dip!

Are you close with them? We are 4.5 years apart.... we were close when I was <7 because he was a shy kid. He'd rather play with his baby sister then out in the neighborhood.... once I got to school age I took off as a social butterfly..... my brother and I are NIGHT and DAY, complete opposites.
Are there any special traditions/activities you do together? Nothing really anymore, he lives in Seattle and aside from my wedding almost two years ago he hasn't been home since I was 18. I go out there to visit every few years, but the only traditions I can think of are the ones we had when we were kids on Christmas morning.....

QOTD: I have 2 siblings, a sister and a brother. I am the oldest, sister is 15 months younger then me, and brother is 7 years younger then me. Sister and I are not really close, we used to be, then high school really tore us apart when she started making a lot of bad choices to upset my parents. It also doesn't help that she is a FH who refuses to get a job and lives on welfare.
Brother I am really close to. He is 15 and likes to spend the weekends at my house and stay up all night and play games with me and DH. He also comes to church with us on Sundays a lot too.

I have one older brother. We are very close, I lived with him when I moved to Florida for a few years. Whenever he needs a stand in or someone for a telephone commercial, I do it.. im sure you can see me on tv in the wee hours of morning
Hi Ladies! I haven't been around much lately because of traveling for work and helping out with my grandpa (who had brain surgery a few weeks ago). But, I lurk when I can!
xnbride- Have fun with your sister! That sounds like such a fun weekend.
I am waiting to O, I guess. DH and I are going to try something new this cycle: BD every day in the morning instead of EOD at night. Who know's if it will work, and he has to travel for work 4 days next week, but I'm hopeful and honestly will try anything right now. I've been very discouraged lately!
QOTD: I have one younger brother who is 10 years younger. We are close given the age gap. I've always been very protective of him! He's studying in Germany until August this year, so it's been harder to stay in touch as much. Skype is our saving grace as well!

I am very close with them. Since we all live in different states we get together for family trips and holidays but I can't think of any special traditions. I do enjoy being an aunt and spoiling all of my nieces and nephews.

I tested this morning and Fail. I'm a bit bummed out, so not sure how today will go but hoping I can be positive. (supposed to get AF Sun/Mon)
QOTD: I have 1 sister who is 3 yrs younger than me. We are pretty close although we've gone through times through the years when she wasn't so nice to me and treated me pretty crappy (her friends would even tell her - you are so mean to your sis). We even lived together when I had bought my condo (before DH/marriage) and that was interesting. Things have been better the last couple years but I think sometimes she still has some growing to do. We love to go to Disneyland together - our parents took us there growing up so that is something we enjoy and get crazy at.
He sent it to me awhile back, looking in my email for it!
I was in it with Tony Little, you know the crazy guy that screams all the time.....He had a horrible idea on how he wanted it done so they did it. It was also on VH1 Best Week EVER!!!

I am adopted and have a younger adopted sister. I also am in touch with my biological family and have an older brother. I was born a baby out of 4 sibs but I was adopted into being the oldest sib of 2. My younger sister and I love to go to the beach together when I go back home to OBX. My older brother and I like to talk on the phone alot.

TTA and it seems as if laundry could be added as another reason why...lol. I have been doing it since Sunday and the end is fuzzily in sight.
QOTD: I only have one sibling and it's my younger brother. We are very close and it didn't get that way until I went away to college. I guess distance does make the heart grow fonder. My brother loves Japanese culture and for his birthday, we usually go to some of the cherry blossom festivities in DC and we finish it off at some Asian restaurant. This year future DH and I took him to the Sakura Japanese steakhouse.

The oldest lives in Vegas... some of us take trips there together... and before she left the 4 girls and my mom would go to a Broadway show together... now when she comes in we go and we take her daugther with us too!
