The two girl names he's suggested to me so far are Kaylee and Presley. Yes, Presley for a girl. He doesn't understand why I say they're stripper names. I just want to pat the poor man on the head. At least we tend to agree on boys names.

Those don't seem like stripper names to me, just little girl names. I've had several Kaylee's and a Presley (female) in my classes. Interestingly enough, most of the Kaylee's I've had have been very tomboyish. Names I consider to be more stripperish are Destiny and Crystal.

I don't like either name, they are very far from anything I like... but they really don't shout "I'm a stripper!" IMO. Huh?

They don't sound like stripper names to me. If he suggested Candy or Destiny then yes but I actually like the names he picked.

When I think stripper name, I think more like Heaven, Destiny, etc...

I kind of like Presley. Cutesy, not stripper though.

My brother went to school with a girl named Presley. It sounded much more stripper-ish with her last name, which is a synonym for treasure.

I can STOMACH Kayley, but anything with an "ee" makes me think stripper personally. Presley could MAYBE be an ok boys name, but nothing about it says girl to me.

my niece is Preslie. Not a fan of that name but she is so stinkin cute that I now have a positive association with it. I know what you mean about the stripper names though my Brother in Law wanted to name her "Paradys" yes, Paradise but with a Y.

One of my friends is Crystal and she is a conservative Christian...far from a stripper. I don't associate Crystal with strippers.

I'm not sure if you've ever spent time in a strip club, but those are definitely NOT stripper names by any means. Strippers have stage names like: Heaven, Morgan, Essence, Candy, Lacey, Veronica...(I know from personal experience. I've never been a stripper, but I do have one in my family and these are her friends' stage names).

The other day my friend's husband was complaining his wife likes stripper names - she wants the name Tatiana.I don't personally see why this or Presley or Kaylee are weird.

I guess some names like Cinnamon really do sound more like nicknames given to strippers but for the most part unless it seems more like a stage name, I don't buy into this.

I know about 5 middle school Kaylee/Kayle/Kailee and what have you that will probably be future strippers so I hear ya.
