Do not buy the fisher price luv u zoo swing...

We received it as a gift and put it together yesterday. Makes an awful loud clunky sound and doesn't swing well. Thought maybe we had a "bad" one. Took it back to BRU and turns out that they've had many returns on these. Fisher Price has been sending replacement parts out to those that can't return/exchange them. There are lots of poor reviews online. Don't have a pic, but it's one of the travel/space saver swings. I blame myself for not doing research on this one, but it's a freakin' swing. Was really the only thing I didn't look too closely at. Picked b/c it's small and we have limited space. Just wanted to give you other ladies notice. On the plus side, BRU was great and let me put the amount on a gift card until I can figure out what else to get.

On that note, anyone have any suggestions on a small swing?!

    I feel like most swings always have some reviews complaining about noise. Every swing i'm sure makes a noise - some just worse than others. I have heard cradle swings are better than the regular swings. I have the Graco Sweetpeace which is pretty quiet. It's expensive though (I wouldn't have bought it for myself it was a gift). I don't think I really helped. I'm sorry.

    I got the Luv U Zoo full size cradle n' swing last week. I set it up and turned it on and it was not loud at all. Hopefully I don't have any problems with it because I don't want to have to take it down and return it, especially since I threw the box out already.

    Are you talking about the Spacesaver swing or the cradle swing?  Both exist in the "Luv u zoo" style.

    We got this one too.  It makes some noise, but I didn't think it was too bad.  From the reviews I've read of swings in general it seemed like many of them make some noise.

    It's the space saver swing. From what I'm hearing this is the only one that does this. I didn't find anything negative about the full sized one. I was going to get another one until the employee at BRU told me they had gotten a lot of them returned recently. When I got home I looked at the reviews one the website and there were quite a few that had the same problem and some of them even stopped working altogether after while.

    Thanks for the suggestions ladies, will check those others out!
