Blood in urine

31 weeks, blood in urine the last couple days. Just a little bit, and not every time I go. I read that it's normal after sex but after I had the experience last time we had sex last week, we haven't gotten busy because it freaked me out.

If it's just a little bit and not on-going, it's not really anything to worry about, right?

  • I've only had blood in my urine when I had a UTI, never from sex. I would call your dr. You might have an infection.

I completely agree.  UTIs are very common during pregnancy too.

  • If the blood is in your urine, then I don't see how sex could cause it. Bleeding/spotting after sex is usually caused by an irritated cervix. If the blood is in your urine, I'm more inclined to believe that you have a UTI or kidney infection/stones. I wouldd call the doctor and talk to them about it.

I agree with this. I think light bleeding/spotting after sex is normal for some women, but it wouldn't be in your urine. It would be in your discharge, or just show up in your underwear or on toilet paper like a period. Blood that is actually IN the urine is definitely something to get checked out.
