Oh gosh no. My husband tries so hard not to laugh at me, but I wave my arms around (penguin style) when I'm trying to go anywhere quickly. I don't think I do it in public yet though.
Between the cankles and the BHs, I am usually waddling by the time I get home from work.
2 years, 2 surgeries, 2 clomid fails, 2 IUIs, 1 loss, IVF #1 - 10/25/10 = BFP!, DS is now 3.5yrs!
TTC #2 - 6/12 surgery #3, FET #1 & 1.2 = BFN, 12/2012 FET #2 = BFP! DD is 1.5 yrs!
Surprise! 12/16/14 BFP, loss #2 12/31/14
I can't wait for the "im getting a divorce" post in 5 years or so because your husbands were fed up with your disgusting chair asses from playing on the knot all day and getting fired 4-5 times for not doing any work. you guys are all winners!! ~ Laur929
I waddle too! At my last appointment my doctor made me feel good because she told me that waddling is a good thing! I believe she said something about when you waddle it shows your producing some type of body fluid that helps your joints move. I don't remember her exact explaination, but since she said it's a good thing, I don't worry about it and do it all the time

This. Sometimes I even do the stereotypical "pregnant lady hand on my lower back" while walking--it REALLY does help the pain, but I realize how silly I must look.
like one of the previous posters, i tend to waddle depending on my sciatic pain... My SO doesnt laugh at me TOO much but my brother always does... he calls me a Weeble Wobble
Yep, if I've been sitting for a while and everything is a little stiff feeling, I definitely have a bit of waddle happening. I'm sure it's very entertaining to watch!
Re: It's official....
My blog
Me too. I waddle first thing in the morning for sure.
This exactly.

My waddling correlates directly with how tired I am. The more tired/sore, the more exaggerated the waddle.
I'm totally going to do the penguin arm flap next time. My H will crack up.
I do when my hips hurt or my sciatic pain is in gear. Fun stuff.
I was so bad when I was pregnant with DS, my mom's friend quacked every time I walked around when she was there. I kinda wanted to smack her a little.
Well, it makes me feel better to know I'm not alone!!

Me: 36 DH: 41
Exactly!
I definitely notice a duckish quality to my gait when my hips hurt or when my sacrum is sore. Otherwise, I'm still fighting it as much as I can!
This is me too 100%.
This!
This exactly. Many times I catch myself waddling and try to walk like a normal person but if I'm really sore there's no stopping the waddle.
