WFL? Need inspiration

I am so sick of not eating healthy lunches.  I always just want to get out of the office so I end up eating fast food (chicken nuggets and baked potato from Wendy's is my ususal).  I'm going to go grocery shopping and start packing my lunch.  But until then, give me ideas! What are you ladies eating today?

  • I *just* got back ambition to cook anything, so I totally feel you.

    I made chow mein last night and I have leftovers for lunch today.  Tonight I'm making a pasta salad with feta and pepperoni.  Still not healthy, but a huge step up from McDonald's and Taco Bell!

  • I joined the salad craze so I am having a salad made w/ leafy greens, mushrooms, green peppers, cucumbers, sharp cheddar cheese (light) and wheat pita bread. I am very proud of myself today!

  • Salad!!  I didnt realize it was as popular as it was until yesterday's post.  Another suggestion would be vegetable soup and a whole grain wrap with chicken breast (I buy the precooked and cut Carver's in the lunch meat section), and veggies.

  • I'm having a lean cuisine sweet and sour chicken, yogurt and an orange, and fat free pudding. After which I'll probably still feel hungry and unsatisfied, so I'll hit the vending machines for a mid afternoon snack. Which will be much better than yesterday when I had a breakfast bagel from brueggers, my lunch and then went to Dairy Queen for a sundae. I love eating out these days!

  • I just ate a big salad made up of a pile of spring mix (including arugula- I love that stuff!), feta, raw walnuts, a cold baked potato, and raspberry basalmic vinaigrette. It really hit the spot, and I'm already looking forward to my next salad!
  • I bought a box of salad (mixed greens) put a nice vinegarette on top and bought a side of strawberries to go with. Am hoping it holds me over till Dinner

  • I had a bowl of chicken Ramen. I know, not healthy at all!

    DD had a pb&j sandwich and a toddler-sized handful of cheese puffs.

  • I made a whole wheat wrap with chipotle, chicken, cheese and lettuce, YUM.

  • I had leftover homemade pasta w/meat sauce and zucchini, and slice of bread.

    Other inspiration for you: yesterday was a work lunch and I had an amazing salad at the Italian restaurant we went to. Mixed greens w/grilled chicken, walnuts, dried cherries, mini mozz. balls and cherry tomato w/rasp. vinaigrette, plus red lentil/butternut squash soup. So tasty!

    I've had more ramen than I care to admit.  I craved it both this pg and the last!

  • I just had a ridiculous lunch- my usual salad w/ ginger dressing and a clementine, a grilled veggie and goat cheese panini, and a fruit tart.
