Losing your mucus plug has no determination on when you will go into labor. In fact I've known people who have lost their plugs 2 or 3 times because it can reform.
It could be an hour, it could be while you're in labor that you lose it, it could be several weeks. For you, it'll likely be several weeks since you're not very far along. I lost mine with my DD at 35 weeks. I was induced at 39 weeks 6 days. Mucous plug loss is not an indicator of labor, just of effacement or dilation. Dilation itself isn't even an indicator of labor. You could walk around four centimeters dilated for weeks.
Hmmm.... Ive had contractions too but they're still at least 10 min apart and LO is very active right now. I'm trying to keep her in there for at least another 2 weeks!
Hahaha, best advice I can give you is don't read too much into "the signs." You can lose and regrow your mucus plug several times before ever going into labor. And, honestly, there's no way for you to know that you've actually lost all of it and not just a piece...

I lost my plug right before my water broke last time but I was already in labor at that point. You can lose it several weeks before labor and it will reform so it is not a good indication. GL!
