I did some research/asked my OB when we went to Honduras in February. She said to stay away form any insect spray that has DEET in it (I believe some of the OFF ones do, but not all). You can find insect repellent online that is DEET free and safe to use for pregnancy.
I went to Whole Foods for mine. Works the same, but did not smell very good.
Skin So Soft from Avon works great as bug guard. It's an oil and for some reason it repels everything. Just be careful if you are in the sun with the oil....could get pretty burnt!

Put 20 drops of essential oil of Cinnamon leaf into 2 Tbs of olive oil. Just put it in a dark colored (glass) spray bottle and give yourself a spritz every hour or so.
It smells GOOD and keeps the bugs away (and I usually get annihilated by mosquitoes)! Plus, it makes your skin nice and soft....

Here's a natural repellent that's easy to make:
Put 20 drops of essential oil of Cinnamon leaf into 2 Tbs of olive oil. Just put it in a dark colored (glass) spray bottle and give yourself a spritz every hour or so.

Is this in a regular grocerie store?
