help me accessorize

I'm wearing this dress to a wedding on Friday evening (with these shoes).  I'm thinking I should keep accessories to a minimum since the dress pretty much speaks for itself, yes?  Please help.  I'm a fashion retard.

    Ditto.  That dress IS your accessory!  If you do a bracelet I would stick with just a few simple bangles.  Love the dress!

    First, and there's no non-awkward way to say this, but just know I'm not trying to make you feel bad, but I don't like the R(--tard) word.  :(  It makes me squinch my butt up.  I guess I just think its not nice, like when people say the f-word (f-blank-g) to demean someone.

     

    Also, I dunno about accessories, but that dress is smokin'!  You'll look great!

    I don't think that dress needs any accessories.  I'd just wear some simple diamond/cz studs.  Have fun!

    I have some big fake diamond solitare earrings you are welcome to borrow if you don't have anything like that.  They look kinda like this, but I think the "framing" part is solid and a little bigger.

    Yowza!  You're gonna look hawt in that dress :-)  And I agree with pp's -- keep the accessories simple (if any).  I would do some stud earrings or simple dangles, and maybe bangle bracelets.  Have fun :-)

    Thanks for the offer.  I'm already in Houston for the wedding...and I already have some of the most obnoxious CZ earrings on the block.  Wink

    I like the dress! I also like that you chose a nude shoe.  If you're wearing your hair up, I'd do a small, sparkly dangle.  If you're wearing your hair down (or half down) I'd stick with studs as pp's mentioned.  Have fun!
