For those of you putting a changing pad directly on top of LO's dresser, how are you attaching it? The one we have has a single strap that can be screwed into the back of the dresser but I still don't know if that's stable enough. I thought about using heavy duty double stick tape on the underside directly to the top of the dresser but I don't want to risk ruining the pain on the dresser.
Thoughts??
Re: Attaching changing pad to dresser
I never attached mine.
When the baby is a newborn, they won't move enough to move the pad around, and once they are big enough to squirm around during diaper changes, their weight holds it in place.
Mine is just sitting on top of the dresser.
I haven't attached it yet but I will probably just use the screws...but I have two straps.
What about those double-sided 3M sticky things for hanging pictures on the wall...that what I use for all our frames and they don't damage the paint so long as you remove them the way they tell you too...
I don't plan on attaching it. I heard that putting one of those non-skid rug pads underneath it will prevent it from sliding around on the dresser, so that's what I'm going to get.

That's what I did and it worked fine.
I think this should work. And that way you can take them both on and off when ever you want. I know they are excellent at holding rugs, even on slippery surfaces.
