Spanish Conv. Club Ideas? (NTTCR)

Hello ladies,

So I'm going to be heading up a Spanish conversation club at work and need to come up with some ideas for topics that will be fun and interesting and make people want to come!  Any ideas?  I've got a few ideas including talking about/learning survival spanish (where are the bathrooms, what time is it...), a discussion about food, and maybe a game day....  What would make you want to join a group like this? TIA!

    Food, that will always draw a crowd. Have a variety of spanish dishes and then have a discussion about them.

    I used to run one too :) I would suggest having something with food the first week to get people to come, and then ask those that show up what kinds of things they would like to see happen. I always found that they had great suggestions when I asked :) We tended to pick some kind of situation, like I'm lost in Mexico city and need to find a store that sells _____, or I am talking to my friend who just had a bad breakup, or whatever and act out the whole thing together. Sounds like fun, hope you get a good group!!
