I decided to wait it out for my MFM appt and ask them about the pain/cramping. I get there and they do my vitals. That's where it all goes down hill! She did my bp with an automated machine and the thing just kept pumping up and I was almost in tears with pain. My hand turned purple and my whole arm was numb and tingling. I finally asked her to take it off and she did. So she did it manually and said it was high so she was goin to get a different cuff. She brought in another machine and my bp was 189 over 88!!! Of course then my heart rate shoots up and is in the 140's. She had me lay down on my left side and took it again about 10 minutes later. It came back a little high but within normal range at 138 over 70 something. So I go on to the ultrasound where everything looks fine and my NT risk is greater than 1:10,000 so they were happy with that. Before I leave they go ahead and get my temp just in case and it's 100.1. They sent me home with instructions to drink lots of water, lay down and take my temp regularly. If it spikes i am to go to L&D immediately. I am also to call my OB in the morning and get them to do a urine sample. I am concerned but trying to just pass it off as nothing. I will see what the OB says in the morning.
Sorry for the lack of paragraphs and grammar, I'm on the couch on my phone.
Re: Not a very good dr appt!
I'm sorry your appointment went so bad!! Good to hear that the NT results all came back good though
Lay down, relax (as much as you can) & do what they told you!! Hang in there & big hugs!!
From what you are saying it sounds like a small infection perhaps? How long has it been since you went and are you peeing enough for how much liquid you are taking in? I wouldn't get overly worried since you had a level 2 U/S and everythng thing looks fine wth the baby it just sounds like momma might be fighting something, time to take t easy i think.

Aw, what a downer. I'm so sorry you are dealing with such a hard time.
I hope that it was all just a fluke and that you are feeling better very soon. Glad your little bean is doing just fine despite everything else. Big hugs.
