First Time Mom/ Mom-to-be Mother's Day Gifts?
Hey all, and Happy Mother's Day!
Just curious of what any moms-to-be have received as mother's day gifts? I told DH I didn't want/ need anything but he was completely cute & got me a card signed in crayon from the baby & himself, and also got me a no-slip mat for the tub (since I almost fell getting out the other day!). I've also gotten text/ calls from friends & family members! I hope you all have a wonderful day out there & blessings to all of you!

Yes, a VERY sweet card, a Mommy and me pic frame, and a baby pic frame, lotion and body wash and also a mini massager since my back has been achey at night. He also picked out the gift bag bc it matched my shower dress. Very thoughtful Mommy to be day

Yep, we also talked about not really doing anything major for Mother's Day since I work until 5PM & then we have our second Childbirth Prep. class tonight from 6-8:30PM. I guess he couldn't resist though, because he ended up getting me some flowers, an adorable card & the new purse that I had been eyeing longly at Ross last weekend. I think I'll keep him!
I really wasn't expecting anything at all (MH is not a "little things" kind of guy, and I didn't think it would even occur to him). But I got a totally uncharacteristically sweet card and...one of my favorite presents ever...a day of personal concierge service where I basically have a personal assistant to do any errands/tasks I need from morning to night. Totally thoughtful and perfect gift because we're moving in a month and a lot of it is going to fall on me since MH usually works over 100 hours a week.

I've gotten some sweet texts and messages from friends.
DH got me some flowers and our Sunday morning special treat: doughnuts, OJ, chocolate milk and the paper. He also picked up some steaks to grill tonight.

My husband got me a bird feeder and gave me a sweet spiel about how the seed he bought for it is fortified with calcium so that the birds that eat it will lay stronger eggs for their own little birdies (according to the salespeople at Wild Birds Unlimited). Very, very sweet
He said how he hoped our kids would grow up watching the birds in our backyard eat from the feeder because he read that kids that grow up with/around animals and nature have active imaginations 
He also scheduled me a prenatal massage for this afternoon. Oh, and he made (and is cleaning up) breakfast. I'm spoiled. And I cannot wait for my massage......

I got a card from DH and one from LO. DH also got me a mother's ring with pearl and peridot (I guess if she decides to come early or late we will have to change it).
My brother sent me a necklace he and my SIL picked up on a recent vacation to Mexico. And I got a card from M&FIL.
I definitely feel blessed!
I was surprised this morning when we woke up and DH pulled out a little box that had another charm for my pandora bracelet. I love it because it's not a standard baby charm. It's a cute little owl that goes with our baby's owl-themed room!!! So thoughtful
