186-136 = 50 right? (I know, wow! I can do math).
Or maybe the better question is, WHERE in the heck am I carrying?
Granted I am on bed-rest but geez! Last pregnancy on bed-rest I gained 35lbs instead.
Anyone else? Bed-rest or otherwise? And how heavy was your baby?
Re: 50 lbs gained! What in the heck am I carrying?
Sadly, I think that's what's going on with me too. (Not that I expected a 50lb tot or anything).
i started out at 120 and i now weigh 163.. ugh.. I dont get how. I was healthy before and I have been pretty good this whole pregnancy.. I work out and up until month 7 i had a job where i was on my feet all day. I dont know where its all going bc im still pretty thin.. So hopefully im not having a 30 lb child.. im measuring out right so who knows. My doc thinks its just genetics bc my mom gained roughly 50 with each of her kids
With #1 I gained 60 and she was 8lbs 10oz (40wk 5d)
with #2 I gained 45 and she was 7lbs 5 oz (37wk 6d)
with # 3 I have only gained 7lbs.
Me too! Well... up 54
.
My sister gained a little over 50 and my mom gained 60 with two pregnancies and 80 with my brother! The doctor said that makes sense - some of it can be genetic. I haven't changed my eating/exercise habits since the BFP so it was upsetting at first but at this point I am just over it. No worries, we will all lose the weight! My jogging stroller is ready to go!
I watched what I ate, exercised throughout the entire pregnancy, and gained 53 lbs as of late. My OB is not worried, evidently.
The only saving grace is that my entire family is thin, and my mom and sister have both had 50+ pregnancies and bounced back to thindom quickly.
My son is purely made of tacos and sundaes. I gained 50 lbs, and he was 8 lbs. 2 oz. at birth.
This pregnancy, I'm at 26 lbs. gained, although I never returned to pre-pregnancy weight before getting pregnant again!! Still, major improvement.
When I was on bedrest I gained 44 pounds and my son was 8 lbs 10 oz.
This pregnancy I think the rate of my weight gain is slower.
HAHA. i wonder what my babys made of...
