TGIF April momma's! How was your day?

Aubrey's been super fussy today. But we went out to dinner with another couple who had a baby boy 3w before I had Aubrey. We were joking around that we chaperoned their first date hehe. It was so nice to enjoy adult company and have adult conversations. But now it's completely thrown off our night time routine and I'm really hoping she doesn't notice and will sleep nicely for me tonight.

We went to a friend's house tonight to watch a movie and LO slept the whole time. Now it's almost 11:30 and she shows no signs of going to sleep any time soon. She was pretty fussy for most of the day today and drank a whole 4 oz bottle tonight! Growth spurt maybe? I need her to be my sweet, cuddly baby instead of this ravenous velociraptor she's turned into!

Olivia is on night two of showing no signs of going to sleep early. She has a lot of gas as well and I know that is the reason. So DH and I are sitting in bed watching Family Guy and taking turns soothing Olivia.

Tonight I don't have to get up with her it's Friday and DH takes over Fri and Sat night owl duty. I only have to nurse her.

I was waiting for you to post this

Well, I had a CRAZY night of going to BBB and BRU to buy gifts for four showers. Yes, you read that correctly. I also bought LO an infant pool for this summer (so cute) and some purple pjs.

My LO was being fussy earlier. She had the signs of a growth spurt earlier this week. Then tonight we could not calm her no matter what. Finally, I told MH to leave her totally alone and she was fine. Maybe she doesn't like us! LOL

Today was a pretty good day - LO wasn't too fussy today. Yesterday was pretty brutal with her needing to be held and/or nursed almost constantly. Today was so much better. We had a nice walk to the store for groceries and even managed to do a family dog walk later. Now we are watching Due Date after watching Knight and Day and probably staying up way too late for poor LO.

H and I drove to my parents today, so I've been banned from taking care of my own little nugget. It was nice to go out and be social

I'm lonely. SIL and friends came over to bbq. Everyone stayed outside. I was left to deal with a fussy baby while watching everyone out the window. Add to that DH went over to a friend's and was going to be home by 1030. He just called to ask if he could stay later, which makes me feel like a brat no matter what I say. And my friend was supposed to visit today and she never called me back. Baby girl is sleeping oon me now, but I'm so sick of feeling like I am completely isolated. We get to go to a bbq tomorrow, so maybe that will make me feel better...

We just finished watching the movie Cyrus--where John C. Reilly plays a guy who is dating a single mom (Marisa Tomei) who has a *weird* relationship with her 22 year-old son. It's really funny :-)

Liam's asleep across my lap. We might watch another show or movie before heading to bed.

Julian wanted to be held alllll day today, it was the only thing that would soothe him. Now he's slept for almost 4 straight hours which means he'll probably be up for a while. I'm back at pumping every 2 and suddenly seem to not be getting anything, my boobs aren't even sore. Hopefully the ladies are just being temperamental and it's not that they're drying up.

Today sucked. We had our first meeting with the craniofacial doctors that will be doing the cleft lip/palate repair on Edmund. We also met with a feeding specialist for babies with clefts and were basically told that we have been feeding our son wrong. My emotions are running really high right now. I feel like I'm failing my son. I feel like I'm never going to get the feeding right. He sleeps too much and he hasn't pooped in 2 days. His bilirubin levels were at a 14.8 today and we have to go back either tomorrow or Sunday to have blood redrawn to see if the levels have gone down.

Poor Jack is all stuffy and soveeally just wanted to lay on my chest. Kyle sent us to the bedroom as he we was working on a gift for me. Ok. Both the baby and I fell asleep early!!

anywho, yea, I'm still here. Waiting for BF to get home. He went out after work, saying he would be home before 1...it's almost 2 and he doesn't have his keys, so DS and I are hanging out on the couch...I can't sleep on this damn couch.

Andrew is definitely hitting a growth spurt. He was eating every hour to hour and a half for most of the morning and afternoon - it was crazy. I did get to go to the gym for the first time in 6 weeks today and it was heaven - felt so good to get out and work up a sweat!

Reading about your evenings makes me realize I may need to relax some. I start freaking out a little if we're not home to do bedtime routine at 10. Tonight I had a small breakdown because LO was resisting bed and it was 11 before I got her put down. So now I'm up at 4 doing what is normally her 2-3 am feeding and it actually bothers me more than it should. Can you say CONTROL FREAK?!

Oh. This is how frequently my LO eats throughout the day and sometimes night normally. I wish I could chalk it up to a growth spurt!

Oh man, good luck! Hope things have progressed since you posted! I'm at home, doing chores and hoping to go into labor on my own before being induced some time next week (Wednesday marks 42 weeks). Keep us posted!
