Update: If I still owe you a warm fuzzy sparkle vag, it will be posted here

The love is flowin' and you guys are keeping me busy! I'm going to keep it going. I thought I would continue the posts that I owe in this thread so that you don't have to keep checking the long thread. Here I go . . .

  • KAK :->

You are saucy! I can tell that you would be a lot of fun to hang out with. I'm kind of tall (5'8") and so I always like the tiny spunky girls. You always say something funny and I loved that picture of you and DH outside the church--I think it was your wedding day? So cute.

  • Veronica--

You, like MrsMVM, are also really really sweet, but once again not in a fake way. And sometimes I equate sweet with innocent, but then you say something like you did in your "how did you get knocked up" post, and I'm like YOWZA! That girl is no angel! hahahaha So I appreciate that you are sweet but you keep it real too.

I could almost say You're not CHICKEN.

    Chaw, che chaw, che chaw!

You are like the Judge Judy of the September board. If someone is out of line, you call it out. If someone deserves props, you give them.  You keep it real.No one's gonna mess on YOUR watch!

Your kids will always know that mom will catch them if they act a fool. You also have balls of steel because even if your opinion is shared by only a few, you will stick to your guns.  You're someone who I find myself wanting to please because I really respect your opinions.

Your post about the doggie really pulled at my heartstrings! I have a little guy myself, and so I always feel a sense of camaraderie with a fellow dog-lover. I was so proud of you for taking the little guy in when his story could have been much more sad if you hadn't stepped in. Dogs are just the best, and I feel like dog people are awesome. You will have to update us when you get your new addition!

You are like my guilty pleasure poster. Like NatKay, you say whatever you think and you don't hold back. I'm someone who likes to run when the missiles start flying, but you don't back down, you just run in there and usually have something REALLY FUNNY to say. I am always giving you silent cheers for saying how you really feel without being a b**** about it. You are really funny. I'm not the only who notices that, right? Like you're really funny.

Ok I'm going to start out with some tough love first. Why do you have so few posts?!?! You need to talk more! I am always glad to see whenever you chime in. You are a really tough cookie and I am truly thankful for your service to our country. Your AP post about respecting it for what it is but still liking to be involved .  . . that is awesome. Other people in that position would take the bitter stance. But you keep your chin up and be the best mom you can be. That's a real American hero. Not joking.

Ok, I will talk more. I tend to lurk a lot, get to know people, and then come out of my shell. And, wow, you totally made me blush. Thanks.

This whole stream of posts is just awesome. We may have to do this again when we are all in our last few weeks and feeling tired and cranky.

  • blueeyedboymeetsbrowneyedgirl

First of all, you are so pretty. And I love your wedding dress. And you're another one that I'm thinking why does she have so few posts? She needs to talk more. At the same time though, when you speak, it's not just blabber to take up space. You only seem to talk when you're really moving the discussion/information. But still. Talk more. Also, you have so much going on (work, school, pregnancy, family) and you seem to be on top of it all. I'm jealous because I get overwhelmed by a to-do list with like, 3 things on it.

Where have you been?! You used to post a lot more, and then it seemed to die down. I've missed you being around. When you jumped in on the crazy Monesha post with your little smackdown I loled. You keep things fun around here and we need that.

Also, I noticed in the original glitter vag post that you seem to be glitter jizzing?? I would have that checked out by your OB. Glitter vag is great, but if you're glitter jizzing, that might be an early sign of pre-e or GD.

Ok you are also going to get a lecture. Seriously, what's with the only like 100 posts??? A lot of times I just read comments, and then when someone says something striking I look at their screen name to see who they are. I always find myself doing that with your posts. They always catch my attention because you are always contributing meaningful/good stuff.

And you are way too mysterious! Start sharing more! I want to know more about you.

You already have 2 boys but it's not you rub it in our face with an eye-rolling "you all are a bunch of newbs" attitude. Your advice about baby gear, sleeping, feeding, etc. is all so useful. Also, like womancake said, I appreciate that you will say "to each her own," and really mean it. I think it takes real wisdom to know that everyone's got to find their own way with this mommy thing.

EVERYONE gets sparkles. This sparkle does not discriminate based on age, race, sex, gender, religion, post count, number of TMI posts, etc.

So I had to look at your profile to get to "know" you better and I like what I see. You should post here more! I see you talk to 2nd tri a lot. You should post over heeerreeeee. We are better. lol.

You are already good in my book because you made a cawfee talk reference. Rhode Island. Neither a road, nor an island. Discuss.

Ok, what's with you denying the claims that you are always so rational? Tell your DH you've got moves he's never seen (My Best Friend's Wedding reference). You are always very rational and smart on the board, and even when s*** is hitting the fan you make logical, good points.  You are the voice of reason even when others might get heated up to the point that they start to look silly.

Alright, so maybe I've cheapened the balls of steel award by giving it out to a few posters. But seriously, if there was an award for the balls' balls of steel, YOU WOULD HAVE IT. There are time when I'm thinking whoa she is 2 steps from b***** but then your sense of humor reels it back in. You keep it real and always say what you're thinking. I STILL remember when that one girl said that she only wanted female OB's because a man wouldn't know what's going on with lady parts, and you said "Does a marine biologist need flippers??" GAWD YOU ARE FUNNY. You always have the snappy one-liners, but really, you are smart as a whip and you speak the truth.

And well, I'm afraid of you. Don't speak the truth on me pleeze! lol

Bahahahaha! Oh thank you. This cracks me up.

I feel like I should point out that if I disagree with you (okay, not you specifically because I don't remember ever doing this) it isn't personal and unless someone really peeves me off (this RARELY happens) I won't even remember who you were probably. We are all so different here and I think it's great that we can have different viewpoints. I love hearing other point of views and I obviously love giving my own... probably a little too much. Just keeping it realz.

Seriously, I need to call out some girls specifically... blueeyedwhatever - I heart you. Even though I don't know your whole screenname. Lacey- Well, YOU know. Veronica - no idea how you stay so sweet without getting on my nerves. But you totally do. So mad props. Mrs.Michelle- I totally agree with PP that I don't know how you aren't rolling your eyes at us FTM's constantly. Amanda - my fellow mean girl. love you. Ohsay - I like you. Post more. Ummm... I'm thinking of people but I can't remember their screennames. I may come back.

And now to give brit some sparkles - how perceptive and sweet of you to give this board exactly what it needed this afternoon...a little soft and fuzzy to remind us why we come back here day after day, to share this awesome journey with each other!  I am in awe of the time you took to sit and write so many nice things about others that you've never met before.  Bravo, momma, bravo.

You are really trying to help/give advice to the poster without turning it into the Elynds show.

Thanks lady! :) I e-love you too and think we could be IRL BFFAEAEAE. (That's the most glitter I've ever spat on this site, and it was to you so you should feel loved!) But honestly, you already know this but I always feel so speechless if you reply to something before I do because you steal my words! But that's fine with me because you always say things so nicely! I'm pretty fond of your partner in crime Amanda too...you guys are a good duo!

I do love lots of people on this board though! I know my opinions are pretty different from many, womancake is the first that comes to mind haha, but I love that she is okay with having a civilized discussion about all topics we don't agree on and it doesn't ever get nasty. Differences in opinions are what make discussions interesting! Yay for September!

Yes, you're correct. I haven't been on much lately due to some back/butt pain and have been in a craptastic mood because of it Sad One OB appointment and a consult with a chiropractor and it looks like I'm on the road to a whole lot of physical therapy starting tomorrow. I hope to feel much better soon! For the meantime I will be in and out but I haven't forgotten about you ladies. Thanks for this post, you're awesome.

why thank you :) But I must pass the props on to my wonderful father from whom I inherited what some call a sense of humor and others call, well, weird. But I'm glad you enjoy what I have to say and I feel the same way about your posts. And, I'll be honest, I immediately knew I liked you for 2 very deep and heartfelt reasons:

1.) Your avatar is a pretty pink flower. I love flowers...and I'm obsessed with pink. People have already asked if my baby boy will own a polo in every shade of pink (jury is still out on this).

2.) Your sn is brit. As you may have previously noticed, I had a FFFC post about wholeheartedly loving Britney Spears despite the fact that she has no singing voice whatsoever. That being said, name association is automatically in your favor.

I told you they were deep and heartfelt reasons Wink

I try to be as fun as everyone else...I don't want to be boring! Haha, I will make sure to let my OB know about my glitter jizzing!  I LOVE your graphic, haha, but I always love your pictures, they make me crack up!

Thanks for the vote of confidence on Sloane!  Most people are like, "Oh Sloane is cool" - it's my fave, but I do love Robin, too.

I am a major yoga-practicer - I've been doing it off and on for about 10 years and I truly think I can credit yoga and general meditation to my very chill personality - it's an awesome healer.
