Over the last week or so I noticed I'm getting that line of negra (sp?). And last night noticed it's going above my belly button now. Doesn't look as bad as I thought it would. Does it get darker? Hubby made me smile when he said to go put lotion on it because he thought it was dry skin or stretch mark. :0)

DH's are silly.  I never even noticed I was getting one...I cannot see under my belly button anymore, but apparently it jsut started...my SO pointed it out when I was getting dressed Sunday. Mine is apparently worse on my vagina than my actual belly.  I went and looked in the mirror and the dark lin is  right under my belly button, then fades to like nothing and then picks up again where my bikini line is and darkens from there down. I just chuckled at it...my nipples are what scare me!  It looks like someone colored them with the darkest brown crayon they could find and then started dotting the skin just outside of them too!  It looks hilarious against my pasty white boob...

Haha.. I've been split right down the middle since like 18 wks if not earlier by this line! I also have brown skin so perhaps because I have more melanin. But my line starts 2.5 inches below my chest to all the way to my bikini line! Then it disappears. But the line above the belly button is skinnier than the line below the button. Interesting huh?

I've had a linea nigra my whole pregnancy.  I mean it was one of my first pregnancy symptoms! 

 Mine hasn't really darkened up much from then to today (I'm 33wks), especially not the top part above my belly button.

I also got it right away in pregnancy(btwn 6 and 10 wks?) and mine goes all the way from my va-jay-jay to my rib cage....it seemed like the further along i got the more it grew and got darker
