We had decided we were just going to try and see what happened, but both had strong feelings we would need a specialist. I booked the appt with my PCP for Feb 8th and we were just enjoying ourselves. I wasnt charting/temping or anything yet. Based on my due date it was between Dec 31st-Jan 2nd. We did not have SD that weekend and had NO plans. So we just enjoyed ourselves ALL weekend. I think there was sexy time at least twice a day that weekend!
According to my due date it was the day after Christmas. Which makes sense since we only did it twice all month and the other time was a couple weeks before Christmas.
We didn't have to be anywhere, all the Christmas related activities were done so we spent most of the morning in bed. Not a very exciting story but so far its leading to a happy ending.
Ours was January 3. We were actively trying and I noticed early in the day at work that I was actually ovulating (TMI) so as soon as I got home I insisted on it. The week before the BFP I was EXTREMELY sick and thought I had the stomach flu. (didn't put two and two together until I went to work Monday feeling fine and by the time I made it to work was sick again). That night I went and took a pregnancy test. Yep. definitely pregnant. The test showed two lines before I was even done peeing on it!
Awww, thanks ladies... I love reading all your stories... (yes Nat, even yours - a girls gotta do, what a girls gotta do!!!)
I have a special place in my heart for those who were seeing an RE... Can't explain it but when a womans body isn't working the way it was created to work - it can be very, very upsetting. Shots & u/s galore & failed cycle after failed cycle... Its no walk in the park.
Ahhh... I'm so glad we're all pregnant and we're all here... (((((Big fat dorky group hug. ))))))

Not gonna lie... I'm a little jealous of all of your stories.
Ours is an IVF baby. Our 4th IVF cycle... I had my retrieval on December 13, so I guess that is technically the conception date, but our transfer was five days later on my birthday.
The doctors and nurses kept talking about what a great birthday present it was, but after all of our failed cycles and losses, I wasn't feeling very optimistic.
We flew to WI for xmas with dh's family. Two days after xmas we drove to a lab out there to have my blood drawn- and early the next morning my nurse called to tell me my beta was positive.
So I guess this little guy is my birthday present after all.
TTC since 10/07
11 medicated cycles
including...
4 IUIs*5 IVFs*1 FET
2 chemical pregnancies*missed m/c @8w 9/09*missed (twin) m/c @8w 5/10
Laparoscopic myomectomy 8/10
Chromosomal translocation of #2 now requires ICSI and PGD
We had a m/c at 12 weeks October of 2009...and had been trying ever since. We started seeing an infertility specialist who told us we had mycoplasma, and that's why we lost the first baby. He said we wouldn't be able to get preggs for at least 6 months after it was cleared up. Well, he was wrong! We conceived the week of Christmas. My period was a day late, and my dh and I were going to go to a party, and we took a test just in case...BFP! We were both sobbing like babies! We were worried for the first few months about the mycoplasma affecting our lo, but so far we have an active healthy little girl!
Ours was New Years Eve. Hubby and I went out for the first time on New Years Eve in a long time. We had such a good time and had an even better time when we got home. ( I know tmi LOL!!!)
We made a deal that night. I really wanted to stay up and read in bed, but DH hates when I do that because he hates the light on the nightstand gets left on longer than 5 minutes . So anyway, we made a deal that if I would give him a little "something-something" then he wouldn't complain about the light.
The third cycle was the charm for us! I was charting so I know we conceived on Dec 9, 2010. MH even said that night after we got done, "That was it, I know that was it." Sure enough..
