Places to take the inlaws/beach cabins

Any one have any recs on where to take and stay with the inlaws over Memorial Day weekend? I'd love to take them to the beach. I got notice today they are coming. My FIL says "We want to do something fun with the boys" but it is a little short notice.

    I'd be worried it might be too chilly to enjoy the beach. Maybe Leavenworth? (Though it might be cold there, too!) Or, just fun downtown with aquarium, museum, etc.?? Sorry...I guess I'm not much help.

    You could try Cama Beach state park they have Cabins. It is worth getting on the wait list if they are full. We got in that way in early April.

    We've rented places off of vrbo.com.  In fact, we're going this weekend to a cabin in Westport.  They have places listed all over, so you can kind of just pick a place and look for a house to rent.  They have a wide range of prices as well.

    My parents have a cabin in Lake Bay that is up on vrbo.com, if you want the link let me know. They are just opening it this week i think, it's closed all winter.  It has a tree house, beach access (it's on a bluff above the water) and sleeps 7 i think.
