Need tips to teach DS to eat with utensils!

I keep trying with him and he just wants to pick up the food with his hands. Does anyone have any tips? Thanks!

    He is still pretty young.  My 2.5y/o will still eat with her hands at times if it seems "easier" to her.

    He will figure it out!

    We just keep giving her utensils, but she is definitely more of a finger food girl still.

    I'm glad you asked this.  Every time I give DS a utensil, he turns it around and wants to chew on the handle instead!  I'll be checking in for any advice!

    The only thing we did to teach DS was to give them to him, let him expirement, and model proper usage (meaning shared meals).

    Ethan prefers his hands too. I just keep giving him his spoon and do hand over hand. He gets mad, I give up, and he ends up eating with his hands and playing with his spoon.
