And, of course, I immediately felt ridiculous for having worried about my fundal height last week! :[ I'm 21w2d and baby was measuring 21w4d, so right on track! And the elective ultrasound studio was right (both times).
15w6d = boy
17w6d = boy
21w2d = boy (anatomy scan confirmation!)
LO was not very active because I hadn't eaten much (it was an early appointment), and he was hesitant to show his face. The tech said he weighs a pound. Feels like just yesterday that he weighed an ounce!
One thing that worried me, though, was that the tech looked at LO's heart a total of 4 or 5 times throughout the u/s. She assured me everything looked perfect, but then why so many looks...? I think I'll always be panicky. Anyone else notice this at their u/s?
Anyway, sorry for the long post! FI and I are just thrilled and grateful to have a healthy LO! Thanks for reading!

LOL@ "The Thinker" picture at the end!
Re: Had Our Anatomy Scan [PIP]
I had my 20 wk u/s yesterday and they told me I measure 20 wks 4 days (instead of the 20 wks 2 days I thought I was).
This is our third child and I remember with all three the tech spent a lot of time taking measurements of all kinds when it came to the heart. She spent a bit of time on it yesterday too. When the doctor came in later, she also took a peek at it because she said it was just to perfect and they always get a kick out of it! LOL!! She admitted they're a bunch of nerds! HAHAHA!! Everything is perfect with our DS#3. : )
I just wanted to tell you your post made me soo happy! It is refreshing to hear and see positive experiences with an anatomy scan. The pictures are adorable! I love the baby thinker! Thanks for the post---it brightened up my night.
Aww, thanks so much for saying so! It's nice to feel like I'm not just clogging up the board with my posts. I'm an overthinker :P
Congratulations on a great anatomy scan and little boy!
Obviously the heart is a big deal, and the doctors make a big deal about being able to see all four chambers in the heart, so your u/s tech makes a big deal about getting a good picture for the doctor. She may have seen them fine, but she needs to make sure that the doctor can see them. I am surprised she wasn't explaining that to you though. If there was even the slightest problem, you would have been ordered an echo-cardiogram.
It is so nice to hear about good anatomy scans.
