Anyone familiar or know anything about Learning Tree Academy or All About Kids? They're both located in West Chester. I looked them both up on the OJDFS website, but didn't get a lot of info there. Hearing personal experiences, and word of mouth, for some reason, makes me feel better. Our search is narrowing, so I promise there won't be a lot more daycare questions from me

Re: Learning Tree or All About Kids?
I haven't heard anything about Learning Tree but there is an All About Kids near the center I work [not in West Chester]. Obviously I am 100% biased as my child is at a center with me BUT we have had parents tour who have/had their kids enrolled at All About Kids [not in West Chester]. Some of the things we have heard...high turnover, young teachers (can be good or bad), too many transitions (ie the kids get moved to a new room/new teacher every few months rather than staying in one place for awhile).
Most of the parents who have enrolled their children at the center I work for say they enrolled here because they just got a good feeling and it ended up being a good match. So if you don't dig up anything horrifying on the ODJFS site and you visit and get a good feeling then your intuition is probably worth listening to. Visit more than once and ask if you can come in and observe a classroom in action with your child. Good luck!
edited to add: with a franchise, like All About Kids for example, you really have to check out each individual center. I was just sharing what I had heard about one particular location.
