honestly, don't shop for them until after your milk comes in. Get a few nursing tank tops and then worry about bras later. Your breasts might change in a big way from where they are now.
I really like these. But I am a 36B and do not need a TON of support. They are supportive enough to wear all day and super soft. I love them and will be ordering another 2 soon.
i also like the Medela sleep bra, but it's not quite as supportive for daytime.

ditto to this. i was 34b while pg and after my milk came in i was 34dd.
Surprising as it may sound... I found the most comfortable ones at Wal-mart! (My "girls" tripled in size!!) They were like 8 bucks for a two pack. They come in white, blue w/ polka-dots and pink w/ polka-dots. I actually started wearing them WELL before I had DD. I wore mine during the delivery so I could nurse her right away.
The best one I found was at Target. I got the size I currently was at about 36 weeks pregnant. It looks like a sports bra but has flaps. And they stretched enough for when my milk came in and provided nice support. I am probably back down to my pregnancy boob size and they are still great. Also the nursing camis are awesome from Target. I always have one on since they are nice and long too.
I also have halter style ones from Motherhood but they aren't supportive enough, or tight enough to hold the nursing pads in place. And they ended up stained from the Lanolin.
I only bought nursing tanks and lived in them during maternity leave. I didnt buy a bra until my supply was well established and I was getting ready to go back to work. I love the Target tanks and Gilligan O'Malley bra's.

Ditto nursing tanks! I bought 1 nursing bra at Target and I HATE it. Of course, I bought 2 wks before I had DD and now it doesn't fit. (Even the correct size doesn't fit because of the style). I went from a 34 B/C to a 32 D. I ended up buying 2 nice bras at a bra store (and got measured, too.) I think it is REALLY important to be measured by someone who knows what they are doing. Many retail stores, i.e. JcPenny, Nordstroms will do this for free and you don't have to buy anything. I think the brand I got was Fancee Free. Not terribly sexy, but they work and are very comfortable. I've heard good things about the 'Hot Milk' brand, too.
Agree with PP, don't shop for bras until about a month after the baby is born. Start off with some nursing tanks (I like the Medela Bamboo nursing tank).
Once your size has leveled out, you can go out and be properly fitted. If you have a large chest, I would stay away from the cheapies at Walmart, Target and Motherhood bras. I tried them and IMHO, you get what you pay for. The underwire rubbed, the cups weren't supportive, the straps would fall off. Then, I went to Intimacy got fitted and bought two Anita nursing bras. They are amazing. I instantly felt 5 lbs lighter. I have no more bruising or rubbing. They're not cute, but they serve their purpose. I use Lilypadz underneath to keep my nipples from showing and to keep from leaking.

I love my Anita bra that I got here. This site also has great directions on how to measure yourself, but like previous posters said, wait to measure and buy until after the milk comes in.
Re: Recommend your nursing bra
How big are you?

Oh, yeah, don't shop til your milk is established. I think around 4 weeks pp.
Though like Autumn, I, too, am the same breast size now as I was in my third tri. Not everyone stays that way though.
